You Will Rise Again- Bishop Mike Okonkwo

You Will Rise Again.--Bishop Mike Okonkwo.

“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand” Psalm 37:24
One of the benefits of the new creation is that there is nothing like a fatal fall for you. Yes, the banana pills of life may have tripped you on your pathway to attaining God’s divine purpose; but that does not mark your end. You may have fallen over and over again, that still does not spell your doom. Failure is not failing once or twice; failing is falling and refusing to get up.
No matter how bad the fall may have been, I have good news for you: that is not the end of your life. One event in your life cannot become a sum total of your life. An event in your life is not you. Our text today assures you that there is a possibility of falling but that is not your burial ground. “...he shall not be utterly cast down for the Lord upholdeth him with His hands” Hallelujah! What an assurance.
Have you fallen? Have you missed your steps and crashed to the ground? No matter how bad it is I command you in the name of the Lord to rise up today, because you are still a child of God who has been wired to succeed in life.
What you have gone through or still going through is only an experience that you must not allow to stop you. Claim the blood over your life, blow your nose, dry your tears and keep moving. You will get there in Jesus’ name.
(Dr. Mike Okonkwo has authored several books in English and two translated to French. He is a widely travelled man, who has gone far and wide for the spread of the gospel. He is he Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangilical Mission , TREM,worldwide.)
